This estate 2018 Pinot Noir has been aged in a terra cotta vessel, an amphora, maintaining the fruit profile while reducing tannins imparted by barrel aging. Pinot Noir fans will love this wine’s combination of cranberry, raspberry and rose notes.

2017 Dolcetto

Our 2017 vintage is a bigger version of Dolio’s previously released Dolcetto wines. You’ll find more acidity, pepper, and tannins with tasting notes that include plum, red currant, and sour cherry.

Aged over 30 months in American Oak barrels, this wine is smooth and inviting. Notes of cherry, red raspberry and even dried strawberry are perfectly balanced with medium tannins in this delicious wine. We’re sure we’ll see some new Barbera fans!

2016 Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo, the King of grapes, is famed for its long aging quality and its unique taste profile.  Our 2016 vintage features tart cherry, raspberry, strawberry jam, & leather notes.  Aged in acacia barrels and held for 6 years, this smooth but bold wine will surprise you.  It is dry on the tongue with a long taste profile that is mature and robust.

Pair with Premium Steak, Gruyere Cheese.

2017 SAGRANTINO

An intriguing addition to Dolio’s Italian wine portfolio, Sagrantino is a spicy dry red wine. Not easily found in our region, Sagrantino pairs exceptionally well with earthy and bold flavors, and has a notable aging quality due to its very high tannins. After a light floral nose, notes of thyme, black cherry, and black pepper fill your palate.

Pair with Sautéed Wild Mushrooms, Tagliatelle al Ragu, and Aged Pecorino.

Duetto is an uncommon combination of Dolcetto and Cabernet Sauvignon. The blend highlights the cherry notes from both varietals while the Cabernet Sauvignon adds notes of black currant and boldens the finish of this delicious wine.
