2017 Pinot Noir

This estate 2017 Pinot Noir has been aged in French Oak. A traditional version of Pinot Noir, you’ll find cranberry, red raspberry, leather, and oak notes.

2018 Pinot Noir

This estate 2018 Pinot Noir has been aged in a terra cotta vessel, an amphora, maintaining the fruit profile while reducing tannins imparted by barrel aging. Pinot Noir fans will love this wine’s combination of cranberry, raspberry and rose notes.

Pair with Herbed Chicken, Beef Bourguignon, and Sausage Pizza.

2015 Dolcetto

Along with Dolcetto’s signature cherry notes, you’ll find deep flavors of Italian plum, a pleasant oak presence and a peppery finish. Higher acidity makes this wine a perfect choice for traditional tomato-based Italian fare.

2017 Dolcetto

Our 2017 vintage is a bigger version of Dolio’s previously released Dolcetto wines. You’ll find more acidity, pepper, and tannins with tasting notes that include plum, red currant, and sour cherry.

2016 Barbera

Aged over 30 months in American Oak barrels, this wine is smooth and inviting. Notes of cherry, red raspberry and even dried strawberry are perfectly balanced with medium tannins in this delicious wine. We’re sure we’ll see some new Barbera fans!

2016 Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo, the King of grapes, is famed for its long aging quality and its unique taste profile.  Our 2016 vintage features tart cherry, raspberry, strawberry jam, & leather notes.  Aged in acacia barrels and held for 6 years, this smooth but bold wine will surprise you.  It is dry on the tongue with a long taste profile that is mature and robust.

Pair with Premium Steak, Gruyere Cheese.

2015 Sangiovese

This light garnet colored wine is packed with velvety notes of plum jam, cocoa and caramel followed by Sangiovese’s signature black pepper finish. This certainly is a wine that can stand on its own while also serving as a great dinner wine.

2016 Sangiovese

Another bold wine from Dolio, 2016 Sangiovese is a journery for your palate. An initial burst of cherry introduces tart strawberry and herbal thyme notes. No surprise, a black pepper finish rounds out the flavor profile of this delicious wine.

2017 turned out to be a great Italian varietal year.  This Sangiovese shows the strength of the vintage with its dominant flavor profile of cherry & red current notes.  Hints of thyme lead to a smooth and dry finish.

2017 Primitivo

A varietal favorite of Dolio’s customers, our 2017 Primitivo is sure to please! Tasting notes of plum, fig, and raspberry jam are followed by a hint of caramel that precedes the white pepper finish.

2017 SAGRANTINO

An intriguing addition to Dolio’s Italian wine portfolio, Sagrantino is a spicy dry red wine. Not easily found in our region, Sagrantino pairs exceptionally well with earthy and bold flavors, and has a notable aging quality due to its very high tannins. After a light floral nose, notes of thyme, black cherry, and black pepper fill your palate.

Pair with Sautéed Wild Mushrooms, Tagliatelle al Ragu, and Aged Pecorino.

2016 Duetto

Duetto is an uncommon combination of Dolcetto and Cabernet Sauvignon. The blend highlights the cherry notes from both varietals while the Cabernet Sauvignon adds notes of black currant and boldens the finish of this delicious wine.

2013 Grüner Veltliner

We love Grüner Veltliner! Its bright acidity, and citrus overtones make this a very versatile pairing wine. Tasting notes include grapefruit, white pepper, and Grüner’s signature tingly finish.

2014 Grüner Veltliner

Our second release of Grüner features green apple, and honey tasting notes. You might even find a hint of white pepper in the finish. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.

Another medium bodied white wine from Dolio Winery. This complex wine starts with mellow notes of floral and vanilla followed by a hint of green bell pepper. Paired with soft cheese, the wine really shines.

Tramonto

This estate rosé is tart and reminds one of pink grapefruit. Also possible to find strawberry and lemon notes in the blend. Tramonto means sunset in Italian, of which we enjoy many from our winery’s tasting room.

This fun Rosé is made with Grüner Veltliner blended with Pinot Noir aged in an amphora. The result is a delicious, crisp and complex wine with cranberry and floral notes. For food pairings, think Thanksgiving!

2014 Barbera

Aged 22 months in American Oak, our 2nd release of Barbera is a local favorite. Sharp acidity and mild tannins make this a great drinking wine with or without food. Features tasting notes of sour cherry, anise, fig, and caramel.

Oh the aroma! Aged a full five years before release, this Nebbiolo features tasting notes of strawberry, plum, fig, and cranberry. A small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon contributes to the long finish of this wine.

This is a first in a series of longer-aged wines for Dolio Winery. Our 2014 vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon has been aged for 5 years before release, building rich flavors of black currant, cherry, black pepper and caramel. The wait was worth it!
